    THE RELEVANCE OF PUBLIC HEALTH IN IMPROVING EOL CARE

    Should end-of-life care be considered a public health issue? Surprisingly, the United States has done little to translate end-of-life concerns into public health mandates. A new essay by True Ryndes and Carol D'Onofrio on the relevance of public health in improving access to end of life care discusses the problems in current public health models and makes suggestions on how these models can be improved.
